Soprano Soloist, Choral Singer, and Music Educator

This website is dedicated to sharing information about Lorraine Joy Welling as a professional Soprano soloist, member of the John Alexander Singers, Soprano Section Leader of the Pacific Chorale, and music educator.

Based in Orange County, California, Mrs. Welling has sung in venues throughout Southern California, the United States, and in Europe as a soloist and professional choral singer, performing most often at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa. She has participated in choral performances and tours with famous conductors and performers while seeking to teach and share her enthusiasm in music-making with students.

Lorraine also has the privilege of making music with professional organist and husband Charles Welling weekly at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in La Habra, while having the opportunity to appear as regular guest soloist with him at the Costa Mesa Seventh Day Adventist Church, where he plays every Saturday morning. Mrs. Welling has often been requested for Weddings and other special events, with her husband and individually. This collaboration is one of the most important facets of her life.
